KAGM “Just Causes” Program

KAGM believes that lawyers should offer their time, talent, and financial resources to causes which deserve legal action but are not, in our opinion, receiving the attention and legal action they need. Very often the cause is just, but the person or entity who is the victim and who has standing to take the legal action does not have the money, know how, or other resources to effectively protect their legal rights. KAGM keeps an eye out for just causes, especially those that extend beyond a particular person or group and impact our entire community and involve a core value or principle.

KAGM provides this Just Cause program “pro bono” (a Latin phrase which in practical terms means “free.”)

We do it “just ’cause” it’s the right thing to do.
