A native of Fort Walton Beach, Ben’s current litigation practice is strongly influenced by his legal experiences within and beyond Northwest Florida. Upon graduation from law school, Ben served as a law clerk for the Honorable C. Roger Vinson, Chief Judge for the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, in Pensacola. Ben subsequently entered private practice as an attorney with King & Spalding LLP in Washington, D.C., where he focused on complex business litigation in numerous state and federal courts.
Ben utilizes the lessons and tools obtained by these legal experiences to serve his clients in Northwest Florida on a daily basis.
In addition to being born and raised in Fort Walton Beach, generations of Ben’s family have been students and teachers in our schools, have served the area through civic organizations, and have remained active leaders in our legal and business community. In particular, Ben’s father, the late-Honorable Ben Gordon, Jr., served Northwest Florida as a County Judge and Circuit Judge for over 20 years, and instilled in Ben an understanding for our legal system’s impact on businesses and lives in Northwest Florida.
Ben’s wife, Amanda, served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lacey Collier, District Judge for the Northern District of Florida, and subsequently as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
