Jamie focuses primarily in the area of employment law, specifically focusing on the areas of harassment, discrimination, and state and federal leave and wage and hour laws. Jamie frequently speaks on these topics at employment law seminars.

Jamie also provides guidance to employers on creating effective employment policies and procedures and counsels employers on these issues.

Jamie is a native of the Emerald Coast, having grown up in Niceville where her parents have been rooted in the public education system for over 35 years. Jamie graduated from Niceville High School and went on to follow the family tradition of attending college at Florida State University, where her father played football on scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Finance and Marketing and continued at Florida State University College of Law, receiving her J.D., cum laude, in 2005. Jamie worked during her last two years of law school at the First District Court of Appeal as a law clerk to the Honorable Jon Wheeler, Clerk of Court, and she also interned as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James Wolf, Chief Judge of the First District Court of Appeal. Jamie returned to the area after graduation and took her current position with the firm.

Jamie lives in Bluewater Bay with her husband, Matthew, where she is an active member of the First United Methodist Church. She is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys competing in marathons, half marathons and triathlons locally and regionally.
