Disaster Preparedness Services
As part of our pre-loss services, we work with you (at no cost) to accomplish the following:
- Your entire property and its contents will be inspected by trained, professional estimators and appraisers.
- Our attorneys will review your insurance policies looking for specific areas where your property may be vulnerable.
- We will provide you with a series of checklists that have been carefully prepared by our attorneys who are experienced in insurance claim presentation and litigation.
If a loss occurs, our team of attorneys, estimators and other experts will be “on the scene” at your property to assess the damage and begin preparing your claim. With our pre-loss documentation, we will be able to see and determine exactly what was damaged by the storm and can present that documentation to the insurance company. We will represent your interests in negotiating your claim with your insurer. Should litigation become necessary, we will be well acquainted with your property and prepared to act on your behalf. By being prepared BEFORE a loss, we are able to put you at the “front of the line,” presenting your claim to your insurance company IMMEDIATELY after a loss occurs.
